1. Steps to complete an online purchase
1.1 Placing an order
Online at www.exb.fr. Browse our catalogue and add items to your basket by clicking "add to basket". At any point during your visit, you may proceed to checkout by clicking "confirm my order".
1.2 Order confirmation
Once you click "confirm my order", a summary page will appear listing all selected items and options. Please carefully check all the details provided, including your delivery information (address, entry code, phone number, etc.). If no changes are needed, please read these terms and conditions. If you accept them, tick the box "I have read and accept the terms and conditions of sale without reservation", then click "pay for my order". Once payment has been processed via our secure server (see "Payment"), an order confirmation screen will appear and a confirmation email will be sent to you shortly. Items currently out of stock cannot be ordered through our website.
1.3 Identifying and correcting errors
You may identify and correct any input errors at any point during the ordering process. If you notice an error after your order has been placed, please contact us via the "contact us" section of the website.

All order forms and invoices are archived on a reliable and durable medium.
3. Legal and contractual guarantees
3.1 Legal guarantees
In accordance with applicable legislation regarding product conformity and hidden defects, we will refund, repair or exchange any product that appears defective, damaged or does not match your order. We recommend that you check the condition of your items upon delivery in the presence of the delivery person.
3.2 Contractual guarantees
All products sold are covered by the statutory guarantee set out in Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. In the event that a product does not conform to its description, it may be returned to us for a replacement or full refund. All claims, exchange or refund requests must be submitted by email to exb@atelierexb.fr within thirty days of delivery.
3.3 Liability
We make every effort to ensure your satisfaction and are responsible for the proper fulfilment of these terms and conditions. However, our liability cannot be engaged in the event of circumstances beyond our control, including force majeure, unforeseeable actions by a third party, or non-compliance of a product with foreign legislation in the case of delivery outside France.
4. Delivery terms, costs and conditions
4.1 Delivery conditions
Products will be delivered to the address provided in your order form.
4.2 Delivery times
Please allow approximately 4 to 5 working days for delivery within France and approximately 7 to 10 days for international orders. Delivery times are given as an indication only; if delivery has not been made within thirty days of the order date, the sales contract may be cancelled and the buyer refunded. In the event of a delay or unavailability, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.
4.3 Delivery costs
Delivery is free of charge within France. Delivery charges are approximately €10 for orders within Europe and €30 for orders outside Europe for up to two items. Beyond this, shipping costs will be calculated based on the number of books and the total weight of the order.

5. Pricing
All prices are listed in euros inclusive of all taxes (French VAT and any other applicable taxes) and include order processing fees. As a reminder, delivery is free within France; standard shipping charges apply for Europe and the rest of the world.
6. Payment methods and security
6.1 Payment methods
Several payment methods are available on www.exb.fr. By credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard and others): payment is processed through the secure banking server of our bank, CIC, meaning that no banking information passes through our website. Your order will be confirmed as soon as payment has been approved by the bank. By PayPal: your financial information is never shared with www.exb.fr. PayPal encrypts and protects your card details; simply log in with your email address and password to pay.
6.2 Security
All payments made through our website are processed using a secure system. We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to protect your credit card details. To guard against any potential intrusion, we do not store card numbers on our servers. Card numbers are handled exclusively by CIC, which returns an authorisation number to us.
7. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with applicable legislation, you have 7 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without needing to provide a reason or pay any penalty. With the exception of return shipping costs, which remain your responsibility, we will refund the full amount paid within 30 days of your withdrawal. An alternative form of reimbursement may also be offered at our discretion.
8. Contract duration and price validity
Prices reflect the VAT rate applicable on the date of the order; any change in the applicable rate will automatically be reflected in the prices listed on www.exb.fr. Products remain the sole property of Atelier EXB until full payment has been received. Our prices are valid subject to the duration of the relevant offer and available stock. Offers apply only to items listed on the website at the time of ordering.
9. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of any dispute, whether as to substance or procedure, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.

11. Intellectual property
All elements of the Atelier EXB website are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Atelier EXB. No reproduction, exploitation, redistribution or use of any kind, even partial, of any element of the website — whether software, visual or audio — is permitted. Any form of linking, whether simple or hyperlinked, is strictly prohibited without the express written consent of Atelier EXB.
12. Personal data
We collect your personal information for the purpose of processing your orders and managing our commercial relationship. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, delete, correct and object to the processing of your personal data.
